Red Wing Shoes

For The Workers

Denver One Club Awards - Silver

Between mass layoffs, corporate greed, and the looming threat of an AI takeover, workers today don’t feel respected or seen. And as a company whose soles are planted in the history of unions and the working class, Red Wing Shoes is reminding you that they always put workers first.

Red Alert

Red Wing Shoes will start putting workers first by making their voices heard. The branded #RedAlert will give users on Twitter a space to expose issues or dangers in their work place, as well as receive support and potential legal aid.

Boots On The Ground

Red Wing Shoes will continue putting workers first across America by erecting statues at famous feats of construction. Plaques on these statues will detail their respective landmark, describing how long it took, pay, working conditions, and more. This will help workers of today understand the workers of decades past, as well as demonstrate the progress Red Wing Shoes and their wearers have marched for.

Worn For The Workers

Because Red Wing Shoes believes in putting all workers first, they will start the Worn For The Workers program to aid in giving every worker the boot they deserve.

The program functions by giving people with used boots the opportunity to trade them in for a new pair at half price. The used boots are then disinfected, refurbished, and given to a worker in need for free.

The R.E.D W.I.N.G Act

Red Wing Shoes will keep putting workers first by working with community organizers and political lobbyists to introduce, then pass, the R.E.D W.I.N.G Act.

Standing for the "Radical Expansion in Daily Workers' Interest for New Work Week Guidelines," this act puts workers first by granting them a 4-day work week so they can spend more time with their friends, family, or building a Lego replica of the Death Star from scratch.

Take Back Labor Day

Labor Day isn’t just for eating hotdogs and burgers, and Red Wing Shoes is going to put workers first on a day all about them by hosting a national Labor Day Parade. Akin in fanfare to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the parade will celebrate and honor all workers across America, from the dishwasher to the diplomat, and will remind people why Labor Day is worth celebrating.
